Often I bite off more than I can develop like I want in a reasonable amount of time. I am a rather introverted person when it comes to more than 2-3 people, but I relish interaction with one or two folks at a time. Many of my "friends" on Facebook are current workmates or former ones. I can share stuff with them this way (I have become known as the nature guy at work) and not many see the blog. But I love the wider reach of the blogging though it takes much more time and work for me. Hopefully, I will be doing more of the blogging come this autumn as our Cytology section of the lab has been closed (big commercial labs have broken our knees). After 43 years at the state public health lab, I'll be retiring at the end of September. I'll have some time on my hands!
Robin, I love having you as my friend! You have become a wonderful "sister" for me.
aubreyFrom Bluebirds to Turtleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03669731355791055929noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8267464062535864670.post-10958302763133902412015-07-11T18:49:03.878-04:002015-07-11T18:49:03.878-04:00I understand the attraction of Facebook, but latel...I understand the attraction of Facebook, but lately I've been spending more time away from it. It does have its instant gratification allure, but the algorithms of the site itself doesn't seem to really connect with what interests me. So, I do prefer blogging and am glad to see this beautiful post here. Fantastic photos of the insects in your neck of the woods. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
